Due Diligence establishes the foundation of a successful transaction by Validating Valuation Assumptions, exploring upsides/downsides to the transaction, and begin transition planning.
The Executive Workshop is the foundation of effective planning.  Executives describe the ‘as is’, the future ‘to be’ vision, and the processes and resources required to make the transition.
Day One activities include those essential actions to establish governance and solve immediate requirements - people, processes, and plant/asset.
During the First 100 Days, all critical assumptions should be validated, detailed plans developed and implemented, governance established, and communications processes developed & implemented.
During the Second 100 Days, begin to harvest the benefits and celebrate the success of an aggressive plan.  Coordinate another Executive Workshop to assess progress against plans, and realign strategies and activities to achieve goals.
